All breeds of dogs at all ages with different circumstances ,there is no set programme as each handler and dog is different,
we offer individual packages at various training grounds throughout Scotland.

  • These are Bespoke to individual handler and dog. It doesn't matter if the level is pulling on the lead, puppy biting, basic dog training or polishing for (Working Tests or Field trials).

    Cost - POA

  • Weekly training blocks (4 weeks) in a group environment, designed to develop individual programmes for individual dogs and handlers in a group setting.

    Communication/support if required by e-mail / telecom / or access our on line training assistance

  • Bespoke residential and raining packages that will guarantee results.

    Bespoke residential training that may range from young dog pulling on the lead to chasing livestock, depending on the individual dog and owner.

    What you get! 100% commitment that issues are resolved if you follow the programme set out for the dog during residence. Residential training comes with weekly live videos (and consultation) of how the individual issues were resolved. (A minimum 2 hour handover on collection and or regular joint sessions through the program.)

  • Live Game Training days are always the pinnacle of Gundog Training for those that want to progress in that field. We often have live game training which will only be offered to dogs who are at the stage of their individual programme.

    Fortunately we have access to some of the most prestigious shooting estates in Scotland and the enviable support of their Gamekeepers and Shoot landowners who have the vested interest of having Trained Gundogs in the shooting field.

    Costings and prices for these days are bespoke and tailored depending on a number of factors to be determined upon invite.

Polmaise Dog Training have trained all types of dogs and handlers over the years who have attended our group dog training, one to one dog training and residential dog training. Handlers and dogs follow a natural cycle and come and go as they reach their individual goals. 

Many handlers are now well accomplished in the level of expectation they wanted with their dogs, some have achieved more than what they first wanted, some are now accomplished KC judges and some are now owners/handlers of Champions in their field, many are now 'training' others. Clients often return with new dogs and the cycle continues Training the trainer with a different dog.
